There are tons of Brosseau originating in Canada, a large family started in Quebec area at Trois-Riveres among others. That particular family was large and they all had kids etc. etc. Info on that family.can be found through a search on family tree maker website. Others sem to have migrated down from Canada into New York, Illinois & a branch in Vermont. I am looking for my grandfather who came from Lyon, France via Canada, his name was George Emile Brosseau. Hope this gives you a lead!
