LUNENBURG - Rachael L. Brosseau, 18, of 452 Hollis Road, a student at Fitchburg High School, died Monday at home after being stricken ill.
She leaves her father, Brian F. Brosseau of Lancaster; her mother, Nancy R. (Lehtola) Brosseau of Plano, Texas; a sister, Sara Brosseau of Lunenburg; a stepsister, Traceyanne S. Roust of Lancaster; her paternal grandparents, Adelard J. and Barbara V. (Pollock) Brosseau of Lunenburg; her maternal grandparents, Reino G. and Dorothy M. (Grenon) Lehtola of Worcester; aunts, uncles and cousins. She was born in Fitchburg and lived here all her life.
Miss Brosseau was a clerk at the Sunoco Station on John Fitch Highway.
There is no funeral service. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in the Lunenburg Chapel of Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 763 Massachusetts Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice, or they may be left at the funeral home.

Sarah L. Brosseau, 81, formerly of 124 Main St., died at 4:40 p.m. Saturday in the St. Regis Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for several years.
The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the St. Regis Road Cemetery, Hogansburg.
Phillips Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Loretta Lazore, Massena; a nephew, Norman Lazore, Massena; several grandnieces and grandnephews.
A brother, Nelson Lazore, died before her.
Born in Hogansburg June 6, 1907, a daughter of Paul and Caroline Billings Lazore, she was educated in Hogansburg schools.
She married Paul Brosseau July 27, 1958, in the First Methodist Church of Hogansburg. Mr. Brosseau died in 1959.
Mrs. Brosseau was employed as a telephone operator at Gray Industries, Syracuse, and was a member of the Massena Senior Citizens and the First Methodist Church of Hogansburg.

Orville Brosseau, a chef, restaurant owner and importer, died at his Fort Lauderdale home on Thursday after a long illness.
Mr. Brosseau, who was born in Granby, Quebec, was 69.
He was well known throughout South Florida as the owner of several restaurants that bore his name, and he also owned Bro-sil Imports of Fort Lauderdale, a firm that specialized in importing English bone china.
Mr. Brosseau moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1961 from New Jersey, where he was in the wholesale gift business and owned a restaurant.
He graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, attended Cordon Bleu Cooking Institute in Paris and started his career as a steward for Pan American World Airways.
''Those were the days when the airlines cooked aboard the planes as they went across the ocean,'' his son Gerald Brosseau of Coral Springs said.
Mr. Brosseau fought in Europe and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in action. After the war, he moved to New Jersey and went into business.
In addition to working as a chef and importer, Mr. Brosseau once ran a syndicated television cooking show.
Mr. Brosseau was a member of Mozart Lodge 121 F&AM, Camden N.J.; Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Trenton, N.J.; York Rite Bodies, Fort Lauderdale; Fort Lauderdale Shrine Club; and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 983, Fort Lauderdale.
In addition to Gerald, he is survived by his wife, Katharine; sons Richard of Milton, Vt., and George of Baytown, Texas; daughter Gisele Phipps of Portland, Maine; three brothers, Joffrey of Fort Lauderdale, Omer of Jeffersonville, Vt., and Roger of East Berkshire, Vt.; sister Flora Chicione of Burlington, Vt.; and eight grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today and on Sunday at Becker Funeral Home, 10630 Wiles Road, Coral Springs.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday in the funeral Home.
Anyone who wants to make a donation in Mr. Brosseau's name is asked to send it to Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital in Tampa.

LEOMINSTER - Raymond J. Brosseau Sr., 69, of 20 Marjorie St. died yesterday in Leominster Hospital after a short illness.
He leaves his wife, Sundina V. (Salvi) Brosseau; a son, Raymond J. Brosseau Jr.; two daughters, Sandra A. Couture and Linda Marrone, all of Leominster; two brothers, Emil Brosseau of Leominster and Paul Brosseau of Pawtucket, R.I.; three sisters, Rita Piermarini, Alice Murphy and Irene Boucher, all of Leominster; seven grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Mr. and Mrs. Brosseau observed their 45th wedding anniversary last April 19. He was born in Leominster, son of Philias and Rose (Devarney) Brosseau, and lived here all his life. He graduated from Leominster High School.
He was an extruder at ITT Suprenant Co. in Clinton, where he worked for 19 years, retiring in 1984.
Mr. Brosseau was a member of St. Anna's Church, the Leominster Sportsmen's Association and its Mountain Men, where he was known as "Sooner." He was a country-music and comedy entertainer for many years in the Montachusett area, and was known as "Alphonse Piton."
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army Air Force.
The funeral will be held Thursday from Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Anna's Church, 196 Lancaster St. Burial will be in St. Leo's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

Dean H. Brosseau, 71, Drayton, died Wednesday. Jan. 29, in Drayton.
Dean Brosseau was born Nov. 20, 1920 in Bowesmont, N.D. the son of Hubert and Maude Brosseau. He attended schools in Bowesmont and Fargo, served with the U.S. Army Infantry during World War II and was decorated twice with the Silver Star. After the war, he was a barber with his father in Drayton and was office manager with American Crystal Sugar at the Drayton plant until his retirement 1982. He married Gladys Rutherford Nov. 15, 1942.
She survives with sons, James, Grand Forks, and Jon, Drayton, seven grandchildren, brother, Franklin, Drayton, and sister, Phyllis, (Mrs. Lee) Flegal, Kansas City, Mo.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, St. Edward's Catholic Church, Drayton.

Services for Melvin Brosseau, 82, a retired supervisor for General Motors who was a football hero at Mount Carmel High School in the 1920s, will be at 9:30 a.m. today in Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Westwood Dr. Park Forest.
Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 212 Monee Rd., Park Forest. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, 2755 W. 111th.
Mr. Brosseau, who died Sunday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital, was a supervisor in GM's plant at 103rd and Cottage Grove. He retired 19 years ago after 35 years of service.
As a star football player and captain of the Mount Carmel High School team, he often was mentioned in newspaper stories about the school and its rich tradition. In 1928, he scored the winning touchdown against a public league school. It marked the first time a parochial team faced a public league school, said his family.
Mr. Brosseau, a longtime resident of Park Forest, got a scholarship to play at Marquette University. But he was forced to leave in his third year because of public sentiment at the time against such "free rides" for athletes.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; two daughters, Jeannine Southard and Ginny Cannon; a son, Melvin Jr.; two brothers, Joseph and Don; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was born in Leominster, son of John and Cecelia (Devarnere) Brosseau, and moved to New York City in 1922. He moved to Monterey in 1967. He was a graduate of Leominster High School. Mr. Brosseau was a railroadman for the Metropolitan Transit Authority of New York City until his retirement in 1967. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Valley Church in Sheffield.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow from Hickey-Birches Funeral Home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Valley Church in Sheffield. Mr. Brosseau was a forest ranger at Leominster State Forest for many years. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Church in Leominster.

She died Monday in a Silverton hospital of causes related to age. She was 82.
Mrs. Brosseau was born July 18, 1911, in Garden City, Kan. She moved to Oregon in 1927, and married Edgar A. Brosseau on Oct. 15, 1929. Her maiden name was Stoffer. Mr. Brosseau died in 1982.
She was a beautician who owned her own beauty shop in Portland until she retired in 1958. Mrs. Brosseau lived in Portland from 1939 until 1984 when she moved to Woodburn and then to Mt. Angel Towers.
She is survived by her son, Lavern of Stayton; brother, Charles Gieswein of Silver Springs; sister, Lena Mae Emil of Aurora; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Hospital in Fort Lauderdale.
Born Oct. 26, 1915, in Lacon to Thomas G. and Emma Mae Barnes Breen, she married Paul G. Hinds on June 10, 1940, in Springfield. He died Nov. 2, 1959. She later married Leon Brosseau on Sept. 7, 1960. He died in April 1979. One brother also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Tom of Calumet City and Jim of Florida; one brother, Donald Breen of Stuart, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She worked for the Peoria Credit Bureau for several years.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be at 9 a.m.
Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Fort Lauderdale, where she was a member. A memorial Mass and burial of ashes will be in Lacon at a later date. Arrangements are by Kraeer Funeral Home in Fort Lauderdale.

Services for Charles Martin Brosseau, a decorated soldier and retired businessman, were held Tuesday at Highland Park United Methodist Church.
Mr. Brosseau died of a stroke Sunday at Baylor University Medical Center. He was 75.
While serving in the Army from 1941 to 1946, Mr. Brosseau won three Bronze Stars.
After World War II, he worked for Finck Cigar Co. in San Antonio, serving as president from 1946 to 1952.
In 1953, he moved to Dallas and went into cigar sales, operating cigar shops in downtown buildings, including the Adolphus Hotel. Mr. Brosseau retired from the cigar business in 1970.
He later owned Brosseau Financial, a mortgage company. From 1985 until his death, he was chairman of Miramar Realty Services.
But above all else, "he was a dedicated father and family man," said son Thomas E. Brosseau of Dallas.
Other survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Wiseman Brosseau of Dallas; a son, Charles M. Brosseau Jr. of Fort Worth; a sister, Rita Harding of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, Alfred Joseph Brosseau of San Antonio; and 11 grandchildren.

WARE - Floyd N. Brosseau, 64, of 4 Longview Ave., a maintenance supervisor, died yesterday at home after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 41 years, Janet (Gauthier) Brosseau; two daughters, Cheryl Trench of Mount Holly Springs, Pa., and Doreen Bator of Ware; a brother, James Thomas of Gilbertville; and four grandchildren. He was born in Brandon, Vt., son of Ralph and Bertha (Fish) Brosseau, and lived here most of his life. He graduated from Ware High School.
Mr. Brosseau was a maintenance manager at Pierson Plastics Co. in Palmer, where he worked for 31 years. He previously worked at Ware Knitters Inc.
He was a member of All Saints Church, the Ware Golden Agers and John J. Weir Post, American Legion, in Gilbertville. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, serving in Europe.
The funeral will be Monday from Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, North Street. Burial will be in New St. William's Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Members of the Ware Golden Agers will meet there at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow to conduct a service. Memorial donations may be made to the Quaboag Valley Visiting Nurse Association, Hospice Program, 103 Fairview St., Palmer, 01069.

Floyd N. Brosseau, 64, of 4 Longview Ave. died Friday at home. He was the maintenance manager at Pierson Co. in Palmer, where he worked for 31 years. He also worked for five years at the former Ware Knitters Inc. Born in Brandon, Vt., he lived here most of his life, and was a graduate of Ware High School. He also attended an apprentice toolmakers' school at the former Springfield Armory. He was a communicant of All Saints Church, and a Golden Ager. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and served with an Airborne division in Europe. He was discharged as a corporal. He was a member of John J. Weir American Legion Post 246 in Hardwick's Gilbertville section. He leaves his wife, the former Janet Gauthier; two daughters, Cheryl Trench of Mount Holly Springs, Pa., and Doreen Bator of Ware; a brother, James Thomas of Gilbertville; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be Monday morning at Charbonneau Funeral Home and the church, with burial in New St. William's Cemetery.
