I assume you mean the Joshua and Ann who died in Callaway County, MO: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gsr&GSiman=1&GScid=31001&GSfn=&GSln=barnum

The 1850, 1860, and 1870 censuses show this family living in Erie County, NY. The 1880 census shows them in Calloway County. The 1900 and 1910 censuses shows Ann as a widow in the same location. Except for the 1910 census all of them show her as born in NY. The 1880 census shows her parents as born in NY, the 1900 as Pennsylvania. The 1910 census shows her and her parents born in MO (the enumerator was obviously just lazy).

The 1850 census shows a Peter 50 and Mary Brosius 48 of Erie County who look like very good prospects as Annie's parents.

Here are some people working on the same couple: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=Search&includedb=&lang=en&ti=&surname=Barnum&stype=Exact&given=josh*&bplace=&byear=&brange=0&dplace=&dyear=&drange=0&mplace=&myear=&mrange=0&father=&mother=&spouse=ann*+bro*&skipdb=&period=All&submit.x=Search

For whatever reason I could not find Ann's Missouri death certificate. Perhaps you'll have better luck: http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/advanced.asp
