Thanks. I appreciate your response. I have had two other responses to my queries that my Carroll County John T. Broome, Co F, Cobb's Legion died at Staunton, Va on Aug 8, 1862. The Roster of Confederate Soldiers of Georgia (1861-1865) also lists a John Broome Co. G, 13th Regiment Va in Early County as dying at Staunton, Va on that same date and as being buried in Thornrose Cemetary. Are they one and the same John T. Broom(e) or were there two John Broom(e) killed at Staunton, Va on that date?
