Carole: My name is Bill Weddington and my Mother
was a Broome and was born and raised in Union
County, NC. I can give you a lot of information
which I have obtained. My problem is finding
someone who is from the Union County, NC area and
can appreciate the line of Broome's I am from.
I can tell you this for sure, the Broome's were
from both Scotland and England and go way back to
a Thomas Broom, born about 1680 in England and
died in Wilmington, Deleware in 1749.

the history that I have.
