That's all the information I have on him. Have not found anything else. Sorry.
I have John in 1870 census with his new family married to Harriet Rice. They have a child 5 years old.
Harriet was born in Virginia and I assume they were married abt. 1864. That would bring John over on the boat not after 1863? He could have come as a small child with his parent any time after 1843. I'll have to go back to the census to see if I can find him living with parents in 1860 or 1850 to determine that. Thanks for making me think that through.
