Dear Linda:

My James C. Broom moved from Anderson District, S.C. in the 1850s and was found in the Floyd County, Georgia area. He had a son, Thomas Benjamin Broom, who was born there. He later moved over to Franklin County, Georgia which then became Banks County, Georgia. Any relation? I always wondered why is up and moved over there and did not stay.
