UNK BROOM married MARY JANE GREEN(E), in Huddersfield, Eng. their son FRED BROOM, b. England abt 1865, d. unk. married ELLEN FOSTER b. Liege, Belgium. She was the daughter of JOSEPH RICHARDSON FOSTER and MARY ANNE BERBACH of Belgium. Ellen's brothers; FRANK FOSTER and WILLIAM FOSTER were b. in England, her sister ANNIE FOSTER, sister JOSEPHINE FOSTER and brother ARNOTT FOSTER were born in Philadelphia, PA....FRED BROOM and ELLEN FOSTER had a son named HIRST FOSTER BROOM, b. England 1889/90 d. America. HIRST married DOROTHY WALKER CARMEN, b. 1894, Nutley, NJ. This couple had three children: HIRST FOSTER BROOM,JR., BARBARA BROOM and FRED BROOM. #1. HIRST FOSTER BROOM,JR. b. 5 feb 1921, d.unk, he married RUTH WAITE in 1942, they had two children: DEBORAH BROOM, b. 1952, married DAVID ECKLUND and DOUGLAS CARMEN BROOM. #2. BARBARA BROOM, b. 1 may 1923, married WILLIAM COLLISON HALE in 1942 and RALPH ROLAND ROSS in 1970. #3. FRED BROOM, b. 25 sept 1926, married ANN UNK, they had a child named ROBERT CARMEN BROOM. FRED BROOM married again to JOYCE KISKADDEN in 1959, this couple had two children; BARBARA BROOM and STEPHEN HIRSH BROOM. This lineage was given to me by a relative of Fred Broom. She believed most of the family is now in Ohio.
