Burrell Broom was born in Halifax Co. North Carolina
and was living there when the 1st US cesus was taken in 1790.
He moved to Warren Co. Ga. in 1797. His wife was Martha Flewellen.
Their children were David, Rufus, Adam and Ishmael.
Ishmael married Nancy Myhand 10-16-1804.They had a
son named Allen born in 1807 or 1808.Ishmael then married Nancy Pate
5-24-1831.She was born in Ga in 1811.Their children were: James W., Ishmael Jr.,
Marion, Henry, Eloise, Benjamin, Obediah and S R Broom.
S R Broom was also known as Pete. S R Broom married Matilda Cook
who was born in Ga. 8-12-1861 and died 5-7-1928. Their children were:
William A, Henry Thomas, Joseph Manning, Alma, Robert and Frank.I have more information,
but I didn't know how much you needed. I live in Nashville Tn. The family is from
northern Georgia.
