Edwin Broome, a merchant seaman married Mabel Amy Baster (1874-1898) in 1898 at Mile End, London. They had one child, Edwin Ralph Broome, Nov 1898 and Mabel died in childbirth. Edwin, her husband, died when Mount Pelee, Martinique erupted in 1902. Any information regarding this Broome or Baster family (of which I have a lot of Baster information but no Broome) would be appreciated. (A very unlucky family.)
