Hi Maree - very sorry for the long delay in getting back to you, but I had some time off the family tree research!

Sorry to say that I can't find a link between your family and mine, but I have found both your family members in the 1851 UK census return. They were both single and working on the farm of the Hooper family in Lower Wroxall, North Wroxall, Wiltshire. Hester Broom was a Housemaid and was born around 1831 in Kington St Michael, Wilts. Charles Clapham was a shepherd on the farm, and was born around 1827 in Yatton, Wilts. I assume they met each other on the Hooper farm.

I'm not sure I can find much more info, but let me know if I can help in any way.
Regards, Phil
