It's been several years since you posted this, but I must be related to the Broomes you are enquiring about. My mother will probably know more, she is the daugther of Eric Broome who was one of 13 children to Annie Brightmore Broome who came from Denton. We all still live around Buxton, Derbyshire. I know my mother would be delighted to give you more information as she's very interested in the Broome family history.
