Are you related to William Ralph Broome born 1884 in NC, died 1955ish in Abbeville, SC? This is my husband's maternal grandfather. I think I've just established the above Wm. Ralph Broome's paternal line, but would love to confirm with a real Broome expert, I'm going by US census records and don't have much family documentation for this side of his family.
I found a Squire Broom born 1826 in NC that I found preliminary documentation for. This Squire Broom goes back to Yorkshire England in the 1600's. Are you familiar with Squire Broom?
