Carole,
I am also a Broome, out on a wild goose chase looking for info on my grandfather William Arthur, born around 1893. The only thing is that I don't know who his father and mother was. I was told he was from Georgia. He married Estelle Ramage from Anderson, South Carolina and I was wondering if you have any information on S.R. Broom and Matilda Cook's son William A. Broom. Sometimes his name appears as Wm Arthur and then again as Arthur William.
Any info would be appreciated.
