I found a JAMES BROOM b. 1713 where is unk.
He is listed in the New Castle, DE census of 1794 as being 81 years old at the time of death, which was 1794.

I do have material I got from the curator of Christ Church which is pretty extensive. I will post it tomorrow morning.
