Leroy Broom, son of Solomon Broom.
I have found on the 1880 Carroll Cty GA US census that Leroy and Seletha Stephens Broom had a son and daughter in law living with them.
The sons name was Andrew J. Broom, his wife, Z. Jane Broom.
Andrew J. Broom born about 1851
Z. Jan born abt 1854.
There is also a grandson, William T. Broom age 20, born abt 1860 who cannot be Andrews child, who is his father?
There is a grandson, Julius C. Broom, age 9. Is he Andrews son?
There are small children also living with Leroy, a granddaughter, Selatha J. Broom age 5 and
a grandson, John F. Broom, age 2.
are the granddaughter Selatha J. and grandson John F. both Andrew J and Z. Janes children??
