Hi Dona,
Great to hear from you! I have had a brief hiatus from research, so have no new info. I would love to hear what you have learned. My emaail address is ritamelvin@aol.com rather than my work email listed here. (Am attempting to change it on the site).
I had thought for years that this was our John Broome, but records always state he died earlier than our John. I have wondered if he had just moved to the bounty lands (WV) and was lost track of?? It seems as if there is some connection with that family but i've never been able to find it.
I have tried to respond earlier to your message, but your email is hidden, and I had forgotten my user name here. What a hassle. Please let me know what you have found as this has been a mystery for my family for years.
