I have seen 3 different birth year dates. The first one is 1741, The second is 1744 and the third is 1749. The 1749 is from his Rev. War pension application. The 1744 is from the DAR records and I am not sure where the 1741 came from. I think he is from the Thomas and Elizabeth (Coley) Broom line. He lived in Hampshire Co. in 1780 - 1800s. In 1807 He purchased property in Washington Co., Ohio where he lived until his death in 1825.
