I am descended from John Broome who originally setteled in Cov. Co. MS in early 1800s. Some of them moved on to Marion Co. I lived in Sumrall as a child. I am sure these are the same set of Brooms. If you would like my info please e-mail me at bresnana@freewwweb.com. Penny
