Do you have the husband and children of Elizabeth? I could not find them in 1840 Lumpkin Co GA but found a similar family in 1850 Union as follows:

James Brookshear 45 b SC 1805
Catherine 40 b NC
George 16 b NC
Elizabeth 13 b NC - corresponds to your Elizabeth's birth
James 8 b NC
I'm particularly interested in Elizabeth's middle name, Armon, as the Brookshire I'm trying to ID was listed as Aminda in the Lumpkin Co GA marriages (she married Sanford Redman and had one known child, Florence, who married John Gaddis. Sanford Redman died Civil War 1863).
Do you know where in SC your Brookshires were from? Those I'm trying to ID were from the Spartanburg/Greenburg area.
