I am a Jones, but my mother was a Brooks. I would encourage all direct male Brooks descendents to think seriouly about taking the test. If I were a direct descendent, I would not hesitate a moment from taking the test. We spend hours looking for Brooks connections. We use census records, bible records, land records, tax records, wills, and church records, but nothing is more conclusive than a DNA connection. Please help.......
