I originally did a Y 25 marker test, exactly matched a lost cousin with a different surname whose father had been adopted. All he knew was that his grandfather had been an Adams but did not know that our grandfathers were brothers. When welater matched a Y 37 marker test by a person in New Zealand with a different surname ,my cousin and our New Zealand match did a Y 67 marker test which matched. Our recent sole Brooks match did a Y 37 marker test and doesn't match any other Brooks as far as we know. We areR1b1b2 .
