I am looking for information about my Brooks ancesters. My grandmother was Louise Virginia Brooks Sims Twohey of Orange, VA. Her parents were Emma Cleveland Baughan of Richmond, VA, and Thomas Edwin Brooks of Louisa County, VA. Tom's parents were Emma Perkins and John William Brooks. I have confirmed that Emma was living in Richmond with her children in 1900, but I haven't been able to find any records of her birth, marriage to John William Brooks, or his death. Emma and John William had five children:
Thomas Edwin
Lilly
Pearl
William Garland
Henry
Emma and Tom were married about 1900.
