William Brooks bn ar 1772 SC son Moses bn ar 1809 Ga still at home next to Peter Epperson with dau Saleta still at home in 1830 Hall Ga.
Williams son Moses would marry dau Saleta/Sleter Epperson dau of Peter and Rhoda Watkins Epperson.
Looking closer at 1830 census in Hall Ga - William may have been md 2nd time to Milley.Was she mother of Moses?????
Milley was 30/40 in 1830 Hall Ga census,same age as Williams son James.On the 1860 Carroll Ga census Milley has bn 1887 Va.
Is this confusing or what???
Moses was a Shoe Maker in Carroll Co Ga 1850.
William and Milley shown as Paupers 1860 Carroll Co Ga,very poor and old.
I saw info that Moses Brooks may have died in action 1862 Bull Run,papers in Birmingham Al.
Any ifo on this family would shed some light on Moses,William and our Brooks family.
