I am looking for information about my great grandfather, Johnston Brooks. His name is sometimes listed as Johnson Brooks. He was born in Ireland about 1815, and I believe he was naturatlized in 1844. I have found a lot about him after he arrived in the U.S., but have hit a roadblock on his life before he came here. I would like to know about his birth in Ireland around 1815, and who his parents were.
He may have siblings named Robert, Margaret, Peter or Rose A. His wife was Susannah Briggs, and their children were Alice, Charles, Elizabeth or Lizzie, and Joseph T. Brooks.
