Charles, No idea who were the parents of Sarah Brooks. She was b. abt 1765 in Prince William Co.,VA, but as you probably realise, some of those Brooks moved quite a lot. Her husbnad was born in NC, I think; so I don't know if her people moved near his family or if they met in TN, where they lived in Hawkins and Sullivan Counties. Her husband was Jacob Slaughter (Schlotterer), Jr. Maybe we are not connected. Iris
