Hi Ken,

DNA connects my Alabama Brooks family to Brookses in Pitt Co., NC, so I'm interested in your Elizabeth Brooks. My immediate Brooks line that I know of started with Felix Brooks, who was born in 1807 (probably NC or SC) but was living in Butler Co., Alabama, before 1840. He died in Butler County in 1850.

I also have Parker ancestors local to Butler, Conecuh, and Covington Co., Alabama. My ggg-gf, Samuel Parker, was born in 1765 in Maryland and died May 23, 1840, in Red Level, Covington Co., Alabama. Samuel spent time in Virginia and Georgia before migrating to Escambia/Conecuh Co. Alabama--but I don't have him in North Carolina at all.

Do you have any other locations for your Brooks-Parker kin or any more information on either?
