I am researching the Brooks Family of Hempstead/Queens NY. Calvin Brooks (b. ~1805) and Maria Jervis (~1807) had two children.
1. David Brooks (~1836)
2. Calvin Brooks Jr. (~1852)
David died of wounds in the Civil War. Calvin Brooks Jr. married Hannah Knight and they had five children.
1 Annie Brooks (b. ~1877)
2 Henry Edward Brooks (b. 1873)
3 William A. Brooks (b. July 1883)
4 Olive M. Brooks (b. Nov 1884)
5 Mabel E. Brooks (b. Feb 1888)
