Can you tell me the names of the spouses and children of your Bartley Brooks and his brother David? I have never seen a Bartley Brooks listed as a brother or son of Elisha Brooks, and would be very interested in knowing if you have any documentation. Elisha's will does not mention a Bartley. I know that my Bartley is not a Bartholomew because the tombstone of Bartley, Jr. states "Bartlet". I do believe that my Brooks' came from VA prior to SC.
