In Reply to: Phoebe, w/o Robert Brooke, the Knight of GH by John Hanley of 796

I neglected to add the following to my previous post:

On 2 Dec 1719, a Phoebe Booth witnessed a deed between Bryan and Samuel Ward selling land to Robert Brooke, the younger. I don't know if this is Phoebe Booth, d/o Humphrey Booth, Jr. (d. 1702), or his widow, Phoebe, of whose death date I do not know.

However, if one must be 21 to witness a deed, and if the witness was Phoebe Booth, the younger, it fits very nicely with a possible scenario of an age appropriate marriage to Robert and children born around 1720.
