John Brooke (b 1805 Somerset, England, d. 1890 South Australia), emigrated to South Australia in 1840 aboard 'Baboo'. Was a son of William BROOKE (b 1769 d. 1856 England), John married Harriet SEWELL. Don't know where - They lived in Leabrook, South Australia.
A daughter, Emma (b. 6 July 1854 in Adelaide, South Australia) married Thomas Henry WEBB (m. 23 Jan 1871 Adelaide, SA). Emma’s parents were John BROOKE
