Looking for ancestors of J.P. Brooke who was born at sea on a ship called the Volunteer in 1795. Would like to know ports of origin and destination but haven't had much success finding passenger lists for this time frame.
He was also reportedly first sheriff of Cherokee County, Georgia.
He was married to Hester Bennett of Greenville SC.
