You state you have the dod. In the Partrick Cleburne Cemetery in Jonesboro, GA there is a tombstone for a Agnatius F. Brooks who died August 1, 1864 on a train coming from Atlanta. He was wounded at the Battle of Erza Church. Another source list him as Ignatius Brooks. A internet site list this information. Brooks Ignatius F. Capt. Smyth's Co., Partisan Rangers, Mississippi. Could this gentleman be part of the family that you have listed? Any information that you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Joan Larkin
