I have a Elizabeth Barnard Scottowe, b. 1809, d. 1903 (daughter of Capt. George Scottowe, Royal Navy, and Elizabeth Catherine, nee Robinson), who had a cousin Harold Brooke, of Hinton Abbey, near Bath, whom she visited frequently when she was young.
Elizabeth herself spent much of early life in Bath and Freshford (village near Bath).
Any information welcomed, especially if there was a connection with Robinsons, Reades, or Withers.
