John Brook of Yorkshire UK

Occ: Railway Porter in 1851-52
Son:
Frederick John Born: 1827 - Literate
M: 3 Jun 1852 by Banns at Almondbury Parish Church Yorkshire.
Spouse: Mary Lodge Born: 1827 - Illiterate.
Her father was Francis Lodge Occ: Dyer
Frederick and Mary Brook emigrated to Victoria Australia in the mid 1850s and had three children.
John Frederick Born: 1856
Sarah Ann Born: 1858
William Henry: 1861
Frederick told his children that a advertisement run in the ARGUS seeking a John Frederick Brook for an inheritance was more trouble that it was worth to collect. He also stated that he was related to the Brook Yarn family.
I have not been able the prove or disprove this as I have not been able to find a marriage or birth for John Brook.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to hear from any Brooks descendants from John, Sarah or William.
