Found this bible on sale at Ebay - don't know if this marriage date will help anyone:
Inscription is "To Lloyd Brooke from his Mother H M Brooke."
Family Genealogy entrees are dominated by the name BROOKE. Earliest handwritten entry I can find is Ths Jennings married to Elizabeth Smith Jan 26, 1736........Thomas Brooke married Frances Jennings Sept 16, 1753. A TYPEWRITTEN PAGE is attached which traces BROOKE back to the 1500s and thru the 1600s and 1700s. Locations include Oak Hills, Montgomery County, George Town, D.C., Portland Oregon Territory, Omaha, Nebraska, Jacksinville, Florida, Fort Sidney, Nebraska, New York, San Francisco, Red Bluff, California and others.
From pictures all I can read is:
daughter Mary Jennings Brooke was b. Feb 2 1757
___ was born Francis Brooke second child of Thos. Brookes.
_______ died Nov 5th 1759 aged 23y
_________ Brooke died Nov 5 1959 aged 3y.
Son of Tho. and Frances Brooke married Sarah Ann
daughter of Alexander Maguider of [*see bottom of this page]
____1782 of whom was born Thomas Alexander Brooke
Sarah Ann Brookes second husband was Col W.D_____(cut off)
Lloyd Brooks and Genovieve Garnett Hamilton were united in matrimony the 30th day of December J.D. 1855 at Portland Oregon by the ?? Rev.Bishop Scott.
Henrietta Beall ???? was [married]

*about Alexander Maguider/ it could be Magender/Maginder/the 4th and 5th letters look like 3 consecutive scripted i(s) without the dots. About where he is from, I cannot read the handwriting but it looks like Piner/Priner Georges C..... (the rest is cut of.)I Don't Want to mislead anyone! Am just trying to help, don't know if maybe you can figure this out... maybe something looks familiar.
