I have a small date book that a family member used to write family dates in and it lists Meriweather Lodrick Hill Brook b 2-4/1845 d ? m 9-14/1871 Georgia Octavia Stephens b 2-3/1855 d ?. Surely this is the same man you mention. I'm thinking he was my gggrandfather. My lineage goes this way: Thomas Eugene Brook b 2-3/1880 d 2-24/1970 m 12-27/1903 Annie Bell Stamp b 8-16/1888 d 5-17/1959

I have a lot of Brook names in this book dating back to the mid 1800s. I don't know who they are. I will be happy to share all info with you.
