William David Brooks was the son of James Cannon Brooks and Nancy Riddle Kennedy. He was born on June 27, 1850 in Van Buren, Itawamba County, MS. He married Mary Jane Wesson on April 29, 1868 in Tupelo, Lee County, MS. He died on October 27, 1929 in Davis, Oklahoma and he and Mary Jane are buried in the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis, Murray County, OK. They are my great grandparents. I have photographs of them and their children. I'll be happy to share.
