Well, for goodness sakes. John and Francess are in my husband's family, too.
Ruth Bromley married John Golden/Golding in Goudhurst, 17 March 1766. They had several children, including Lydia Golden/Golding who married William Kemp, 4 May 1792.
Their daughter Sarah married twice. The first to William Phillips, who apparently died. And second to Rev. William Maynard in Frittenden Parish, Kent, 7 April 1828.
Rev. William and Sarah Maynard had several children, some to survive, and the whole family emigrated to Indiana, USA between 1851 and 1860.
Sarah died 22 July 1860 in Ripley Co., IN. (Her eldest son arrived 4 July 1860.) We haven't been able to locate her grave but sure it is one of the lost ones at the Pipe Creek Baptist Church in Penntown, Ripley Co., IN where her husband was a preacher.

Would you want to tell me where you fit in the Bromley family? I've done nothing more on the Bromleys after finding John and Francess died in Horsmonden. I did find John and then Stephen who married Winifred Ward in Staplehurst, 9 Dec. 1799. I didn't know about the others.

Shirley Maynard
