Monseiur Poupat:

This is certainly an interesting thread! By what primary sources have you been able to conclude the following?

"Louis Brouquart of Mouscron was born Louis de Boisserignier at Mouscron in 1620. One of his ancestors fought in the battle of Crecy."

With appropriate documentation, source citations, etc. this would make a very interesting article for "New Netherland Connections." Through this scholarly quarterly and my own web site, I have tried to promote awareness of the family's European origins and the previously unknown ancestry of the "grandmothers" in my Brouquart/Brokaw/Bragaw line of descent. Please see www.perry.streeter.com for more information.

Thanks for your help,

Perry
