Battle of Crecy was 26 August 1346 at which one third of the French nobility perished. Chevalier de Boisserignier who died left an infant son at Mouscron and the family continued using either alternative spelling until they participated in declaring war upon King Louis XIII with Benjamin de Rohan, baron de Soubise in 1621 a year after Louis' birth. This is why Louis' family name was changed to an alternative form already used by other branches of that family such as in exile at the Stranger Church in Canterbury such as Jean Brocard born 1542 of Roubaix Nord and Loyse his wife and their son Jacques born 1570 of Tourcoign Nord whose children all interred in Canterbury as Walloons 1595. Also Jacques born 1601 son of Jan or Jean born 1567 of Canterbury. Jenne daughter born 1590 of Guillaume and Anne Libru of the Walloon Church or Stranger Church. And others of the Brouquart or Brocart family fled to Canterbury. Also in France Adrien Brochert born 1613 died 1681 married 1640 Suzanne Crachet of Guines, Pas-de-Calais. But Adrien de Boisserignier born 1644 at Mouscron was born in twenty-second year after family was attainted by Louis XIII was given the other name from his birth. He married as Brouckart 2 February 1669 at Mouscron to Jeanne Florin and second time married 28 June 1685 to Pieronne (Petronella) de Voldre of Rekken in West Flandres. His daughter by his first wife, of the de Boisserignier line, Marie Catherine was born 1682 daughter of Adrien with his wife Jeanne Florin and the father and daughter used two different alternative spellings, as she was Brouquart and father Brouckart but this was same family de Boisserignier.
Jenne Brouquart born 1667 was forty-fifth year after their rebellion and attaintment and used spelling Brouquart of Mouscron.
