I've read that BROKAW has many variants, including: BERCAW, BURCAW, BERKEY and BIRKEY.

Does your info suggest this?

I'm looking for the family of a Margaret Bercaw 1784 PA-1850 ? who married William Cownover in 1807 and had at least 7 children. Her parents supposedly were Ann Kershaw and Peter Brokaw (1753-1823). I'd like to find out if she had more than those kids, and what became of them.
