Mary Bragaw was the 4th child of Isaac Broucard (Bragaw) He was the 5th child of Bourgon Broucard who is the Patrician of the Brokaw family. He was born in 1645 in La Rochelle, France came to Amerrica via Amsterdam to New Amsterdam in 1675, died 1720. settled in what is now Brooklyn, NY. Isaac was baptised 8/7/1676, dod 3/14/1757. m. to Hilltje Jans ?? Had 12 children from 1700 to 1724. Mary Bragaw dob abt.1708, m. John Updike 5/11/1738, had 12 children from 1739 to 1760??. Have much more info.
