Dear George:
I have been looking for the family of Thomas W. Brogden.
The one that I have was married to Phebe Pierce.
They were from Wayne Co., NC and had 4 children:
Nathan, Pierce, Matthew and Edna
when he died in 1815.
He did not have a will, so a court settlement was made dividing the property among the 3 sons and the mother, Phebe.
Thomas W. Brogden and Mattie Wigges could be the parents of this Thomas Brogden. Or possibly, he married twice.
