I am also looking for Brodies in this area. I can trace back to Donald Brodie who married Mary McKillen. Children all baptised were Hugh 1796, John 1799, Donald 1801, Alexander 1802, Peter 1804, Dugald 1805, James 1807, Margaret 1810, Catherine 1812 and Mary 1817,all baptised in Lochgoilhead in July 1818.

Donald married Ann Gilchrist in South Knapdale in 1827 and son Charles born in 1833. Charles emigrated to Australia in 1859.
