Hello, I am looking for anyone who may be related to a
James/John Brodie,b. 1848 son of James? (b.1871) and margaret McDowell Brodie,(b.1871)
the son married Jane Lawson b. 1852 and lived on adelphi street in Glasgow the Gorels area...Jane died about 1901 as did her husband James , their children were:
Elizabeth Brodie b. 1872
Margaret Brodie b. 1874
James Brodie Jr. b. 1878
Jane Brodie b. 1881
Mary Brodie b. 1883
Alfred Brodie b. 1894, d. 1951 (actually a grandson)his mother Margaret married an "Elder"
Alfred married Annie Goldie who was b. 1893 and died in 1986 , they had a son named Jack who died young and a son named James who married Margaret Reynolds, and their son name is jack Brodie who was brought by his parents to the u.s.a. when a very young child....
the family lived in Scotland before their move and lived in the Renton and Bon Hill area's...close to loch lomond
