Dennis James Brodie
Dennis James Brodie of Palatine Family and friends of Dennis James Brodie, 66, will meet for a committal service at 11 a.m. Friday, at Fairmont Willow Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 9100 S. Archer Ave., Willow Springs, Ill. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Born April 1, 1942, in Berwyn, he died Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Dennis was the father of Laurie Kathleen Goocher and Jillann Dennise Brodie; grandfather of Amy and Margaret Goocher; brother of Terrence Fredrick Brodie, Patricia Lynn Lane, Thomas Michael Brodie and Timothy Patrick Brodie; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Good Shepherd Hospital, Cardiac Care Unit, 450 W. Highway 22, Barrington, IL 60010, would be appreciated.
