1. Humphry Brodie & wife Sarah unknown had son: James Brodie chr.17 Feb 1721 St Michael Parish, Barbados, West Indies.
2. "Lewis of Warner Hall", book pp504-506: "There was a large number of persons named BRODIE in Virginia [York County & vicinity] at an early date, HUMPHREY BRODIE having been there as early as 1635."
Does anyone have info on Humphrey Brodie 1635 VA? Or Humphry & Sarah Brodie, son James, late 1600's-early 1700's Barbados/West Indies likely from Scotland? Or perhaps BRODIE's w/ other given names in those times & places?
