Funeral Notice
J.C. 'STEVE' BRODIE, 93, Spartanburg, S.C. , died Feb. 13, 1999. He was a native of Kitchings Mill, Aiken County, S.C., he was the widower of LIBBIE JOE WOOD BRODIE, the son of the late JOHN WARDLAW and ROXIE GANTT BRODIE. He came to Spartanburg in 1931 . He founded the Brodie Insurance Agency. Member of the First Presbyterian church where he was a deacon and Elder.
Survovors include his son, E.L. Sanders of Spartanburg; a sister, GRACE BRODIE WILLIAMS of Kitchings Mill and a grandaughter. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg....
