Ms. O'Reilly,
I have one blurb from the Augusta Chronicle Herald, Augusta, Ga. dated July 23, 1993. It comes from a segment called "Today in History" and says" 1886- New York saloonkeeper, Steve Brodie, supposedly made a daredevil plunge from the Brooklyn Bridge into the East River, although doubts were rasied about his claim."
I have heard about daredevil Brodie but am not sure I am related to him.
My GGG grandfather was Alexander Marshall Brodie form Coupar Angus, Scotland. I have extensive notes on the Brodies from Augusta, ga. where he settled. If you need some info please contact.
